Del Rio Council for the Arts announces a new initiative that will further its 37 year commitment to encouraging a community passion for the arts and supporting, partnering and collaborating with others committed to the arts.

Art Share, a partnership between DRCA and La Dereccion de Arte y Cultura de Acuna, is dedicated to bringing the many artistic talents located just across the border in Ciudad Acuna to the Del Rio community.  In the coming year, DRCA will host performances from La Compania Municipal de Teatro ‘Katarsis’ and Ballet Folklorico, gallery exhibits featuring key artists from Acuna, and music classes led by Acuna musicians.
