Swan Lake Ballet 

Beginning Ballet (Age 3)

Instructor: Annie Marshall

This class is for new dancers and will take students through the basics in ballet techniques. Students signing up will be performing in Swan Lake on Jun 10th & 11th.

Sat, Jan 21-Jun 10 | 9:00-10:00 
extra rehearsal before show will be required

Tuition: $210 or $35/month (Jan-Jun) 

Required: Leotard, tights, ballet shoes
ADDITIONAL COST: Swan Lake Costume

 

Basic Ballet (Age 4-5)

Instructor: Annie Marshall

This class is for new and young dancers and will take students through the basics in ballet techniques. Students signing up will be performing in Swan Lake on Jun 10th & 11th.

Intermediate Ballet (Ages 6-7)
Instructor: Annie Marshall

Location: The Firehouse

This class is for dancers with basic, previous dance skills and will take students through more intermediate ballet techniques. Students signing up will be performing in Swan Lake on Jun 10th & 11th.

Advanced Ballet (Ages 8-10)

Instructor: Jackie Ortiz

Location: The Firehouse

This class is for intermediate to more advanced students and will expand their understanding of basic ballet technique and continue to develop a foundation for strength and proper alignment. Students signing up will be performing in Swan Lake on Jun 10th & 11th.

These classes will be for students that have advance ballet techniques. Students signing up will be performing in Swan Lake on Jun 10th & 11th.
Tuition for Girls: $330 or $55/month (Jan-Jun)
Tuition for Boys: $210 or $35/month (Jan-Jun)

Fun with Music (Homeschool Grades K-5)

Students will be singing, playing unique and handmade instruments, and having fun with music. Students signing up will perform at the Firehouse on May 13.

Piano Lessons (Ages 7+)

Private piano lesson for kids and adults, beginner to intermediate level tailored to the needs of each individual student.

Valentine's Fancy but Simple Dinner (Ages 15+)

Impress your loved one and make this meal memorable with four cheese truffles, bruschetta with tomato and oregano, roasted salmon topped with potatoes and pistachios, and Nutella mousse.

Vegan Tacos (Ages 15+)

In the land of tex-mex, preparing vegan tacos might sound crazy but these are the most amazing veggie tacos that you've ever had and I can promise that you won't look at chickpeas and cauliflower in the same way ever again!

Time to Party (Ages 15+)

Instructor: Valentina Della Gatta

Learn how to prepare fun picnic food. We will make zucchini, mint and feta salad, panzanella with tomato and olives, mini-pizza, and croquettes with tuna and beans. These are perfect to bring to a party or a bbq!

Gnocchi (Ages 15+)

Last gnocchi class was such a hit, so we are happy to propose it once again and teach you how to make gnocchi from scratch and creamy walnut pesto to go with it.

Beginner Oil Painting/Drawing (Ages 15+)
Instructor: Diamond Vigil
A practical introduction to the materials and techniques of oil painting. Learn palette layout, color mixing, methods of paint application, and the selection, handling and clean-up of materials. Investigate issues of color and composition.

Exploring art through different mediums in drawing and painting, including pastels, watercolors, markers, colored pencils, acrylic paints and more.

Yoga



Yoga (Ages 18+)

Instructor: Lindsey Gomez

A breath-centered vinyasa (flow) Hatha yoga class that will calm the mind and rejuvenate the body. The class will include a brief meditation at the beginning and end that will help you become more in-tune with your breath as well as quiet the busy-ness of the mind. Practice will be adapted to suit all levels from beginners to experienced practitioners.

Pottery
 

Wheel Throwing (Ages 18+)

Instructor: Lida Scharton

Students will learn the basics of how to throw on the wheel. They will be provided with 25lbs of clay and the use of all Firehouse glazes.

Open Pottery Studio (Age 18+)

Students with prior ceramics experience may sign up for open studio use of the ceramic room. The fee covers use of wheels and glazes. Firing is only done by Firehouse personnel when kiln is full.

Fiber Arts
 

Crochet (Ages 15+)
Instructor: Nancy O'Brien
Not a class but a gathering for those that enjoy crocheting. Share new projects and stitches every other weekend in the Firehouse Gallery.
Sat, every other weekend | 12:00-2:00

Tuition: FREE

Registration Information:

  • To register for a class, you can come by the Firehouse to fill out a registration form and pay for the class or for a limited time, visit our class registration page.

  • Class spots cannot be held until payment is received

  • You must pre-register for all classes

  • DRCA Members receive a 10% discount

  • Classes may cancel due to insufficient enrollment, students will be notified by phone

  • Full refund are given only if class is canceled by the Firehouse. If a student wishes to cancel before the first class day a full refund less 30% will be given.

  • No refund after first class

In order to better serve you and insure the enjoyment and safety of our youngest art patrons,

please be on time to pick-up your child. 
Please let us know if your child has any special needs. All classes are designed to be age appropriate and you will need to contact the Firehouse if you are interested in having your child attend a class outside of his/her age limit. Thank you for your interest as we continue to provide quality art education!
